colorado-blue-spruceLatin Name: Picea pungens glauca

Description: Very stiff, regular, horizontal branches forming a broad pyramid. Blue form of the species. Prefers dry soil. A hardy tree tolerant of many growing conditions. Our trees are root-pruned in their liner beds before being transplanted into our grow-on fields. This promotes a full, tight top and ensures a fibrous root system. Our 5′-6′ B&B are hand dug and put in wire stars, or machine dug and put in wire baskets. Larger trees are machine dug and put in wire baskets.

Size: Ht 60′ x 25′
