LOCAL FIRST ARIZONA TO HOST LOCAL BUSINESS NETWORKING EVENT AT WATTERS GARDEN CENTER

raising money for the math & reading clinicLocal business owners or those interested in finding more about Local First Arizona and local business initiatives are invited to the Local First Arizona Mixer on Thursday, March 26, 2015 from 5-7pm. The event will be held Watters Garden Center at 1815 Iron Springs Road in Prescott. Watters Garden Center is a family owned and operated garden center that specializes on providing avid gardeners and novices alike with the expertise and products to get things growing in the mountains of Arizona. Granite Mountain Brewing, Prescott’s three-barrel brewery and taproom that specializes in American-style ales and craft beers, will partner to host the event.

Local First Arizona is a local business coalition and nonprofit organization. It works statewide to create stronger local economies, build vibrant communities and produce better local job opportunities. This event is an opportunity to meet and connect with existing members, as well as to build a stronger network of local, independent businesses in the region.

Ken Lain of Watters Garden Center is excited to host the event saying, “We love to support our local business in Prescott and we’re excited to provide an opportunity for local businesses throughout northern Arizona to get together and learn how we can all work together.”

Local business owners throughout northern Arizona are invited to attend, mingle, network, and learn more about what Local First Arizona is doing to build the local economy throughout northern Arizona. Watters Garden Center invites guests to check out their spring garden essentials and sample some local beer from Granite Mountain Brewing.

Local First Arizona will be talking about its recent workshop, held in Prescott in March, and projects in northern Arizona for the spring and summer.
