Give your garden the look of a masterpiece with the Marc Chagall Rose. This painterly floribunda rose is perfect for Zones 7 and 8, producing a continuously changing canvas of color. Just like the famous artist's work, no two flowers are exactly alike; each bloom is a beautiful, variegated blend of cream, pale yellow, and soft pink streaks. This rose's compact and bushy form, reaching a mature size of 3-4 feet tall and wide, makes it an excellent choice for a low hedge, a container on your patio, or a striking accent in a perennial bed. It is also known for its good disease resistance, which makes it a gardener's delight.
To ensure your rose performs its best, plant it in a sunny location where it will get at least six hours of sun each day. Prepare the planting site by blending a generous amount of Watters Premium Mulch with the garden's native soil. This will improve soil structure and help your new rose retain moisture. After planting, apply a fresh layer of mulch to conserve water and suppress weeds. Feed your Marc Chagall Rose with 7-4-4 All-Purpose Plant Food at planting and every 6-8 weeks during the growing season to promote a continuous flush of beautiful blooms. While its thorny canes offer some natural resistance, you should still watch for deer in areas where they are a problem.
