Mimosas, Mountain Mums, and Masterful Wisdom: Watters Garden Center Announces Exclusive Fall Sip & Shop Event

Featuring giant autumn blooms that outshine spring and a special book signing by best-selling author Maxwell Rotbart.

PRESCOTT, AZ – As the crisp autumn air settles into the high country, Watters Garden Center is thrilled to announce its most anticipated community mixer of the season: the "Mimosas & Mums" Sip and Shop. Taking place on October 9th from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, this free evening event is designed to help local homeowners transform their tired summer yards into a vibrant autumn sanctuary, all while enjoying complimentary mimosas and high-level networking.

The Horticultural Play: Outshining Spring gets all the glory, but mountain gardeners know that autumn is when Prescott truly puts on a show. The event features Watters signature massive, mountain-hardy Mums—explicitly grown to survive the unpredictable high-desert temperature swings.

"Most folks think gardening winds down in October, but that is a “flatlander myth," says Ken Lain, owner of Watters Garden Center and 'The Mountain Gardener.' "The soil is warm, the air is cool, and it’s the absolute best time to plant. We are rolling out our celebrated autumn mums alongside spectacular companion plants, like ornamental cabbage, pansies, and trailing ivy, that create an instant porch aesthetic that completely outshines anything spring has to offer."

A Second Helping of Business Wisdom Adding a unique, high-value twist to this season's Sip & Shop, Watters Garden Center is proud to welcome special guest Maxwell Rotbart, best-selling author and business strategist. Max will be on-site personally signing copies of his hit book, All You Can Eat Business Wisdom Second Helping. Max featured Ken & McKenzie Lain in chapter 8 and their secret sauce that makes Watters Garden Center a hit with local gardeners.

Whether you are a local entrepreneur, a small business owner, or simply someone who appreciates a great read, this is a rare opportunity to grab a mimosa, wander the greenhouse, and chat one-on-one with Max about the actionable strategies that drive modern business success.
