November 5: Rosemary & Rosé: Watters Garden Center Announces Exclusive Late-Fall Sip & Shop Event
Featuring Aromatic, Mountain-Hardy Winter Herbs and Holiday Garden Flowers & Inspiration.
PRESCOTT, AZ — As the brisk late-fall air settles into the high country and the holiday season approaches, Watters Garden Center is thrilled to announce its next highly anticipated community mixer: the "Rosemary and Rosé" Sip and Shop. On November 18 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, this free evening event helps local homeowners turn their gardens and patios into a fragrant winter sanctuary while enjoying complimentary rosé with fellow garden enthusiasts.
The Horticultural Play: A Fragrant Winter. While many flatlanders believe November signals the end of the gardening season, mountain gardeners know it is the perfect time to add cold-hardy flowers, evergreens, and aromatic herbs to the landscape. The event will feature Watters' signature cold-hardy Rosemary and other fragrant winter plants explicitly grown to thrive in unpredictable high-desert temperatures.
"Most folks think gardening winds down before Thanksgiving, but that is a flatlander myth," says Ken Lain, owner of Watters Garden Center and 'The Mountain Gardener.' "The air is crisp, the roots are establishing, and it is the absolute best time to plant evergreens. We are rolling out our robust winter herbs and evergreens that provide instant texture and aroma for your holiday hosting, creating a porch aesthetic that completely outshines dormant yards."
