Collection: Low-Maintenance Houseplants
We all lead busy lives, and sometimes the garden has to wait while we tend to everything else. If you are worried that you don't have the time—or perhaps the "knack"—for indoor plants, I have some good news. There is a whole group of plants we call "low-maintenance" because they truly thrive on a bit of neglect.
The Snake Plant and the ZZ Plant are the absolute champions of this category. They are as tough as nails, tolerating low light and forgiving you even if you skip a watering or two. In fact, more people kill these with too much love (and water) than by ignoring them! Another sturdy friend is the Cast Iron Plant—it earned its name by surviving in the dark corners where other plants might struggle. For a bit of texture, try the Jade Plant or a Golden Pothos. These green companions are patient; they wait for you to come home and simply ask for a well-drained pot and a little bit of indirect light.
