Gary is a deadpan suburban homeowner zombie who survived the apocalypse and lives behind a gated community on the 9th hole of an abandoned country club with his wife Brenda, nine-year-old son Brayden, and seven-year-old daughter Chloe. Rather than craving human brains, Gary is obsessively focused on maintaining pristine curb appeal and high property values, making him far more irritated by HOA violations, wandering zombie golfers, and the weed-infested lawn of the rival Jones zombie family than the actual collapse of human civilization. He limps around his property in his signature outfit of grass-stained khaki cargo shorts, a faded local hardware store polo shirt, and a single New Balance sneaker. As he delivers monotone, expert horticultural advice on his YouTube channel, Gary constantly clutches a pristine pair of Felco bypass pruners that he values more than his missing left arm, frustratingly checks his iPhone for Miami Dolphins scores, and casually snacks on live garden pests like grubs, koi, and centipedes.
