ZYGO CACTUS 4in

Zygocactus, or Christmas Cactus. These festive bloomers bring a splash of color right when the days are short, and with the proper care, they'll reward you year after year.

When picking one out, look for plants with healthy, green segments and plenty of buds. Avoid any that look wilted or have signs of rot. A good, firm plant is what you're after.

They prefer bright, indirect light. A spot near an east-facing window is ideal. Too much direct sun can scorch them, especially in the summer.  

Watering is where folks often make mistakes. Remember, they're succulents. Water thoroughly when the top inch or two of soil is dry, then let it dry again.
