If you adore those delicate, upward-facing blooms that look like miniature butterflies, the Illusia Light Pink Cyclamen (Cyclamen persicum 'Illusia') is the must-have plant to brighten your home during the cooler months. This variety boasts a high flower count of beautiful, soft pink petals with a darker pink eye, set against the backdrop of its distinctively silver-marbled, heart-shaped foliage. It’s a genuine mood lifter!

This is a delightfully compact plant, typically reaching only 10 to 12 inches tall and wide, making it an ideal feature for a bright, cool kitchen windowsill or an end table in a guest room. The secret to its success is light and temperature: it absolutely requires bright, indirect light and cool air, ideally between 50°F and 65°F. Avoid direct, hot sun and keep it away from heating vents or drafts, as warmth will cause it to go dormant too quickly.

As with all cyclamen, the 'Illusia' variety is considered toxic if the tubers or corms are ingested by pets. For the safety of your dogs and cats, be sure to place the pot well out of their reach on a high shelf.
