Gnat Stix Traps are handy little tools for dealing with those pesky fungus gnats. Think of them as sticky flypaper designed specifically for tiny, annoying insects that hover around your houseplants.  

Here’s the best way to use them:

1. Placement is key: Fungus gnats thrive in moist soil, so place the Gnat Stix traps close to the soil surface, where you see the most gnat activity. They're especially effective near the base of your plants.   
2. Insert firmly: Push the pointed end of the stick securely into the soil, ensuring it stands upright. This keeps the sticky surface exposed and ready to catch those gnats.
3. Monitor and replace: Check the traps regularly. Once they're covered with gnats, or every few weeks, replace them with fresh ones. This keeps the traps effective and helps you gauge the level of infestation.   
4. Address the source: While the traps catch the adults, remember that the larvae live in the soil. Allow the soil to dry out between waterings to make it less hospitable for gnats.
