Many varieties will spread out, covering an area of 4 to 8 feet or more, while some bush varieties are more compact, suitable for smaller spaces. They are absolute sun-worshippers and require full sun, needing at least 8 hours of direct sunlight daily to produce the sweetest, most flavorful fruits.
