Insulated Plant Protectors are a Wall of Water. This clever little invention extends our growing season. Think of it as a personal greenhouse for each of your young plants. It's especially useful for those tender tomatoes and peppers that need a bit of extra warmth on our cool spring nights.

Here's how to use them:

1. Set up the walls: Set up your Wall of Water before planting. Fill each tube with water, leaving a few inches of airspace at the top. This water acts as a thermal mass, absorbing heat during the day and releasing it at night.
   
   
2. Plant in the center: Plant your seedling in the center of the ring of water-filled tubes. The walls will create a warm, sheltered microclimate around the plant.
3. Secure the top: Fold the top edges of the Wall of Water inward to create a tent-like structure. This traps even more heat and provides additional protection from wind and frost.
4. Monitor and adjust: As the weather warms, you can gradually open the top of the Wall of Water during the day to prevent overheating. And once the danger of frost has passed, you can remove the walls altogether.
