Ranunculus - Tecolote Sunset

Bring the beauty of a gorgeous sunset to your garden with these gorgeous blooms. Daylight catches the orange silky petal edges and illuminates them to create a subtle variegated look. Delicate shading produces dimension and the overall effect warrants a double-take. One of our favorite orange ranunculus flowers.

Grown at the famous Carlsbad Flower Fields, these ranunculus bulbs are hardy outdoors in zones 8-10 (for fall planting) but are more than welcome in gardens of cooler regions. In zones 3-7, simply purchase bulbs and keep them in a cool (but not freezing), dry spot until and plant outside in April or May in containers or the garden for a seriously impressive display.
