We the Wild Coco Climber
Traditional moss poles are often messy, dry out in minutes, and are ethically questionable. The We the Wild Coco Climber is the modern gardener’s answer: a sustainable, expandable, and highly effective vertical support system designed to help your tropicals reach their full potential.
The "Why" for Your Garden
In the wild, epiphytes like Monstera, Hoyas, and Swiss Cheese Plants use aerial roots to grip onto trees. If they grow along the floor, their leaves stay small. By providing the Coco Climber, you signal to the plant that it has found a "tree." The result? Massive, fenestrated leaves and a much tidier, upright footprint in your home.
How to Use It Like a Pro
-
Placement: Insert the stake into the pot as close to the main stem as possible. Do this during repotting if you can to avoid stabbing existing roots.
-
The First Tie: Use soft plant ties or garden twine to gently secure the thickest stems to the pole. Don't tie too tight; leave room for the stem to thicken.
-
Mist the Pole: Don't just water the soil! Use a spray bottle to dampen the coco fiber regularly. This encourages those tiny aerial roots to actually grow into the pole for maximum stability.
-
Level Up: Once your plant reaches the top, simply slot another Coco Climber into the top of the existing one. No need to remove the old support and stress the plant.
Ken’s Pro Tip: For a real growth explosion, mix a little We the Wild 'Grow' Plant Food into your mister. Foliar feeding the aerial roots while they grip the pole is like giving your plant a high-protein snack!
