Watters Garden Center is partnering with Arizona Raptor Experience in Chino Valley to teach local gardeners about birds in the landscape.
Saturday, March 12 at 9:30am Watters Garden Center will fly these magnificent birds as we teach gardens how to attract more birds into the landscape. Students learn the right trees for protection, water needs, houses and foods that attract more birds into the gardens.
Later that morning we have flying demotrations of several local birds of prey along with their even larger African cousins. The birds are completely trained and ready to show off with photo opportunties to follow. This will be an eye opening class for students of all ages. Free to the gardening public.
