July 16, 2019: Prescott Frontier Rotary is delighted to announce this year’s annual Grapes-4-Grades fundraiser blew the corks off last year’s event! On June 30, Watters Garden Center hosted the Rotary event, “A Garden Party,” featuring 12 different wines and artisan beers available for tasting, music, delicious hors d’oeuvre catered by El Gato Azul, live auction, and cash drawings. In a beautiful evening setting, a record 331 attendees were on hand to support the Rotary Foundation causes. Thanks to the hardworking hosts and the generous Prescott community, Grapes 4 Grades raised more than $65,000 for the community.

Already $37,000 has been donated locally to the Rotary Summer Math and Reading School for grades K-4, a Middle school summer school program, Path to Graduation at Prescott Highschool for Seniors, Books to the Rescue for kids, Kids Against Hunger, along with Rotary’s globally popular student exchange programs.

“It’s amazing what an active Rotary Club can do right here in Prescott.” says Brandon Montoya, Rotary president,” We are making the world a better place and Grapes-4-Grades is a large part of our success.”

Internationally, Prescott Frontier Rotary is eradicating polio worldwide, works with 34,000 other clubs on local disaster relief, providing clean drinking water projects around the globe, Crutches for Africa and a Children’s Medical Fund in Caborca, Mexico.
