FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Watters Garden Center to host Rotary Grapes-4-Grades Benefit June 30.

May 2, 2019– Wine Flows and spirits lifted as the gardens come alive at Watters Garden Center hosts Prescott Frontier Rotary’s 14th Grapes-4-Grades benefit. On June 30, from 5–8 pm, the garden center transforms into “A Garden Party,” with all proceeds going directly to Rotary causes and the Prescott Unified School District’s Frontier Rotary Summer School.  Grapes-4-Grades received an outpouring of support in 2018 raising more than $55,000, with high hopes to exceed that total in 2019. The event features a gorgeous evening of wine and song, with the Drew and Anton band, 12 different wines and artisan beers available for tasting.  Delicious hors d’oeuvres catered by El Gato Azul, and live auction for things like condos in Austria or Italy, all in the lush, vibrant setting of northern Arizona’s most beautiful garden center. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased at Watters Garden Center, Prescott True Value, and Olsen’s For Healthy Animals.

Rotary Summer School elevates kindergarden students through 4th graders have a better understanding of science, computer, gardening, even yoga, so students continue to do their best.  Rotarys ‘Path to Graduation’ for seniors provides online catchup courses that insure help in graduating on time.  All students are eligible for this summer program starting at breakfast and ending the day with lunch.  Last year, more than 250 students honed their academic skills!
